I found my first BC-book, Sprängaren, in a cafe by coincidence. This made me both happy and excited, because I had heard of this concept before, but I'd forgotten the name and webpage for it. Now I had finally found it!
I still find it thrilling to release books and follow their journey, and of course to hunt for travelling books. I've read many new books that I had probably never discovered without bookcrossing.

Not everything on my shelf reflects my taste in reading. I’m only registering the books I’m willing to part from; my permanent collection is not visible here. Also, I sometimes register and release books that I’m not planning to read (e.g. books donated to bookcrossing from others).
