Extended Profile
I'm the bookcrosser formerly known as beebarf.
I'm a book addict. My main addiction is crime fiction, but I'm also keen on literary fiction and trashy Regency romances.
I'm fortunate enough to work with the written word, as Communications Manager for a small national charity, and I recently completed a degree in Literature and Creative Media. The subject of my dissertation was Ian Rankin's Rebus novels and their use of elements from the Gothic novel, so as you can imagine, I've become a bit of an anorak on the subject.
My other hobbies include knitting, needlework, sleeping and eating chocolate. All of which apparently I do quite well. Especially the last two.
