Extended Profile
Normally I don't have a difficult time coming up with something to put in the profile section of things, but today appears to be an exception. Because of this, I'll stick to the pure basics for now:
I am an avid reader. Some of my all-time favorite authors are Philip Pullman, Sarah Dessen, Roald Dahl, Jane Austen, and Tamora Pierce. Even though I'm at the tail-end of my teenage years I still prefer to read books that can be found in the Children's and/or Young Adult section of the public library.
I am double majoring in history and literature at American University (Washington, DC). None of my friends from back home were surprised by this, even though I'd left for school fully intending on majoring in international studies. That lasted all of a semester and a half (less, actually), and then I realized that I was stilting myself if I didn't major in the two subjects that I love the most.
I'm new to BookCrossing and I don't have a lot of books to put up on my shelf. However, anything marked as available is exactly that. Help with postage would be appreciated, since I, like most college students, do not have an abundance of $$. Just PM me about whatever you'd like and we'll be able to work something out. :-)
