I used to read a lot but had to quit when I had children or they would have died of neglect. They are grown now and I have started reading again with a vengence. My husband says I need a 12 step program for my reading habit.:> I seem to be in a mystery/suspense stage right now. I especially like Stephen White, because his main character is married to a woman with MS and he does such a good job of portraying what it is like for a family to deal with a chronic illness. I have lupus and reading is my therapy, it helps me rest and take it easy when I need to and is a great distraction. I've always like books better than TV and movies because good stories should be felt from the inside out, not seen through a camera lens, pointed by a stranger.

I am just beginning to list my bookshelf here and release books but I love the concept of this place.
