Extended Profile
I've loved to read since I was a little girl. My aunt, who lived next door, read at every opportunity, and my brothers and I followed right in her footsteps. I'd rather read a telephone book than not read at all. LOL!
If I don't start getting rid of some of my books soon, we are going to have to move out to give them room. They are taking over the house. So I love the idea of "accidentally" leaving them places, as well as giving them away deliberately.
I'm now verging on becoming a "senior citizen." (Oh, how I hate that term!) I live with my husband and my cat deep in the woods in eastern Missouri, near St. Louis. Fortunately, there is a small branch librarary in a town about five miles away!! I frequently donate books and magazines to this nice, friendly little facility.
In my spare time, I garden, cook, and travel. When there is any time left, I write grant proposals -- just often enough to pay for my book habit. ;)
I look forward to interacting with everyone.
