Extended Profile
I like contemporary literary fiction, travel, biographies/auto biographies & memoirs, horror, crime & thrillers but will read most genres. Except Sci Fi! I tend to read a lot of books which revolve around women or socio/cultural themes.
Favourite authors include Alice Walker, Maya Angelou, Babara Kingsolver, Amy Tan & TC Boyle. Recently discovered Augusten Burroughs too.
Other hobbies include quilting and cross stitch. Rarely have as much time as I would like for any between family, college and work but fit what I can in, when I can.
I love to send RABCKs and will swap books happily. My bookshelf is a good reflection of my tastes as I only list books I read and cross them once I've read them.
