Extended Profile
I am a student of applied mathematics at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim. I love books, and as my bookshelves are filling up rapidly, bookcrossing seems like a very good idea.

In addition to studying and reading, I spend a lot of time singing. I have been attending choirs since I was 4 years old, and don't know how I would get by without them. Since I came to Trondheim, I have been singing in Studentkoret Aks. It is a very nice choir, and if anyone would like to join in, they would be very welcome!

I am open to trades, at least within the nordic countries (Norden).

When it comes to my taste in books, I read pretty much everything. Some times I will read piles of books I have never read before, but at other times, I prefer to reread parts of books I have read before. Some books end up as ongoing projects where I read a chapter from time to time, but take weeks, months or even years to finish. Among my all-time favourie books are:
Pride and Predjudice by Jane Austen
The Lord of the Rings by Tolkien
Ut og stjæle hester (Out stealing horses) by Per Petterson (Listened to this while driving from Sandnes to Trondheim via Sunnmøre together with my father - one of the few books I know my father really loved!)
The Last Samurai by DeWitt
Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling - wonder how it will end!
Og bakom synger skogene by Trygve Guldbrandsen - if you are norwegian and have not read it, you absolutely should! The two following books, Det blåser fra Dauingfjell og Ingen vei går utenom, are also worth reading, and you probably will want to if you read the first.

Recently read:
The bride of science - romance, reason, and Byron's daughter by Benjamin Woolley. A biography of Ada Lovelace. Very interesting.
