Extended Profile
I am a businessman who travels a great deal. Therefore, most of my reading is on planes or in hotel rooms. I am always interested in learning more, especially about other cultures. Typically I carry at least three books with me to insure I don't have to
endure a layover without a friend to read. My informal version of BookCrossers has been for years to give books to flight attendants, pilots, and fellow passengers when I finished them. This circulated a book and made my too heavy briefcase a little lighter.
I have been fortunate to travel quite a bit to Asia, and find their culture and perspective fascinating.
I am trying to get a business established in Europe, so I am trying to be more sensitive to the social differences between their ways and ours. Reading and observing are the two best ways I know to do that.
I have six kids from the age of 31 down to 11(4 boys and 2 girls). I have a great wife who tolerates my long work hours and heavy travel schedule. I have a terrific friend, teacher, Rabbi, who told me about BookCrossers.
