Melissa Montovani has always been a voracious reader of fiction. It was her love of reading and literary analysis,which made her take the leap to begin a B.A. in English Language and Literature at the University of Windsor. She didn't have quite enough academic of her adventure, so she moved on to Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec and completed an M.A. in English Literature. After a few years as the Managing Editor and Marketing Manager for an Internet marketing firm, she decided to go back to her first love - books - and has since created and built a following with YA readers, authors, and publishers at YABookShelf.com.
