Extended Profile
"Life's splendor forever lies in wait about each one of us in all its fullness, but veiled from view, deep down, invisible, far off. It is there, though, not hostile, not reluctant, not deaf. If you summon it by the right word, by its right name, it will
come."
-- Franz Kafka
I'm new to BookCrossing, and have only begun to list the books I own, am currently reading, and am interested in trading or releasing... but the list will grow soon, I promise. :)
Anything listed as "available" is up for trading. As for my own personal wishlist, I'm always looking for books by Charles de Lint and Brian Froud, but other than that I'm open to almost any genre, with the exception of romance novels. (The one exception to that genre was "Possession" by A.S. Byatt- one of my all time favourites).
General Wishlist:
Make Prayers to the Raven by Richard K Nelson
The Calligrapher's Bible by David Harris
Sacred Places by Jane Yolen
The Traditional Bowyer's Bible by Jim Hamm
A Soothing Broth by Pat Willard
Walden by Henry David Thoreau
Aboriginal Plant Use in Canada's Northwest Boreal Forest by Robin James Marles
The Bach Flower Remedies by Edward Bach
