The Cafe
The Veg Box Cafe is a family run, independent cafe. They serve simple, wholesome lunches using the best of the seasons' local, organic vegetables. They specialise in gluten free and vegan dishes so there is normally something on the daily changing menu to suit most dietary requirements. Their cakes and snacks are all homemade and they always have a healthy selection available so come and enjoy a guilt-free treat and a hot drink with them 10am till 6pm every day except Sundays. They also cater for private parties in the evenings, 7-11pm, for all enquiries email Liz Child or call the cafe.
The bookcase is within the cafe where one shelf has been reserved for Bookcrossing. This is a child friendly environment with child portions, a play area and children's books available as well as an area to store a buggy in the shop downstairs.
The shop containing the cafe can be accessed via a narrow road between jD sports and Jones footware shops on the high street, with a touristy shop opposite....fairly close to Costa Coffee.
Address is: the VegBox cafe, Canterbury wholefoods. 1-2 Jewry Lane
