I read and re-read favorites right back to the ones from my childhood. Especially _Understood Betsy_, by Dorothy Canfield Fisher. I am now hooked on the Patrick O'Brian Aubrey and Maturin novels: in other words, not a literary type at all, but love good
writing wherever it appears.
