Extended Profile
I am a science teacher.
I collect the names of figures of speech and examples.
I am concerned that not only do people understand less and less about science, but they also have negative feelings about science. They turn to pseudosciences and can barely hide their glee when science is challenged or "proven wrong". They live uncomfortably in a world shaped by science but do not wish to be Luddites and renounce science and technology. They just have lingering images of Frankenstein and mad scientists and are hoping this subject they never understood will get its come-uppance.
Challenging minds- one idea at a time.
