Extended Profile
Vermont has been my home for 51 years. My children & grandchildren are natives of the Green Mountains. 6 generations have come and gone and we're still hanging out in the northeast kingdom. I love it here. I have no desire to relocate. Living in the wilds
isn't easy but the benefits far outweigh the inconveniences.
Reading has long been a favorite past time of mine. Whenever I want to escape I pick a book up. As a child I would spend many hours in the local library. Not for researching a homework assignment but for entertainment. I was part of the T.V. generation but I didn't fit into that groove.
Now I live in a very quiet community. The moose population outnumbers the humans. When winter arrives I have ample time for curling up in front of the fire & reading.
I'm excited about my membership in Book Crossings. No longer will my paperbacks stay on shelves collecting dust or rot in cardboard boxes in the garage.
