I am a 55 year old grandmother with a life long serious reading addiction. My husband and I belong to a wonderful book club. The group has been meeting for 6 and a half years monthly. We have a pot luck dinner with a theme tied in to the book and then discuss the book. My husband and I are Scrabble players. I love my job. Besides books, I love gardening, travel, children, cooking, cats, history, geology, and playing games. I love fiction, including all of the usual popular stuff plus science fiction, mysteries, historical novels, and lots of deeper stuff too. Recently read The Ground Beneath Her Feet, Prodigal Summer, and Lilith's Brood. I have become a great fan of non-fiction too. Most recent good non-fiction book was Beirut to Jerusalum.

The idea of leaving and finding hidden books is delightful and it may just solve a growing space problem we are having on our book shelves.

I also have a 14 year old grandaughter with an amazing brain and lots of talent as a writer. Watch for her. Her name is Cassie Forest and she will be famous some day.
