Since I was a child I've loved books. Actually, I think I was attracted to them by smell before I learned to read! in fact, the first thing I do with a new book is crack it open and smell the ink and paper - the older the book, the better. Strange? : )

I love to read and my interest in reading material is varied. There are always two stacks of books by my bed and a list of new purchases waiting to be fulfilled.

I can't read as much as I'd like since I spend most of my time reading student essays, but I try to squeeze in as much as I can!

My Wish List

You're Mother Night!

by Kurt Vonnegut

Nobody knows what to believe about you, and you know least of all. You
spent most of your time convinced that the ends justify the means, but your means were,
well, downright mean! And the end is nigh. Meanwhile all you want is to travel back in
time, if not to change, then to just delight in the way it used to be. You are who you
pretend to be. Oh yes, you're the great pretender.
