I've got hundreds of books, and buy more all the time - one of my few vices in life.
Truth to tell, I'm a little bit of a book snob. Not so big on crime, whodunnit, pot boilers, airport novels or anything too 'popular' - more keen on politics, current affairs, history, classics or clever, post-modern literature (David Foster Wallace is my absolute favourite - may he rest in peace), sport. But ultimately, like everyone I guess, I'll read anything - if the back of the cereal packet is all there is, then I'm there, reading it.
And finally what a great site this is - I only wish I'd discovered it sooner.
