Hi there!

I'm a South African bookcrosser, which- as we all know- is a very rare kind of blue, one eyed salamander indigenous to the Australian Outback. These salamanders love movies, films, cinema, redundancy, books, books and books, and also fantasy when the mood strikes. These salamanders are mildly to disturbingly obsessed with Stephen Fry and all things UK / Ireland etc, especially the British humour.

IMPORTANT: If one of my books is marked "to be read", that can either mean it's one I've never read, or it can mean I haven't read it since I got it, but I have read it before. Witness: all the Shakespeare plays on my TBR list.

This Salamander has been largely absent from BC because of financial situations and rising postage costs in South Africa, and begs the forgiveness of her fellow BookCrossers. She misses it dearly, and with some hope may be able to return full time to this amazing community soon. When she does, be assured she shall return with bells on, and probably some gifts!;)

Completely off topic, but this is bugging me. Is it strange that the whole day today I've had the lyrics of the first sorting hat song stuck in my head set to the tune of the Big Rock Candy Mountain? And is it stranger still that the rhythm of the lyrics fit the tune so well?

I LURVE trading books, so feel free to ask if there's something on my shelf you like. I'll send anywhere. That's right, I LURVE it, damnit, I'm far past 'love'.

For in case anyone wants to know, the name 'Snofferol' came from a joke with a friend who made the word up on the spot one day to mean 'buggerall'. Loved the sound of it, so it stuck. Pronounced "Snor (silent 'r')- fer (hard 'r')- all." Spread the word.
