Extended Profile
Hiya, I hang around the yahoo BCUK site & attend the Leeds meetups.
The profile pic is Ribblehead Viaduct, my favourite place. It's in the Yorkshire Dales.
Apart from books of course, some things that float my boat are crosswords(trying to teach myself to do cryptic ones),walking across the moors, yoga and friends round a dinner table.
Happy to trade, if it's TBR don't be shy-it'll persuade me to read it next.
It's difficult to pinpoint the books I enjoy most, there are so many great writers out there, and I'm always eager to try people's recommendations. I tend to lean towards literary fiction:Dickens, Trollope, Edith Wharton, Andre Brink, Michael Frayn, Iain Banks (without the "M"),Pat Barker,Barbara Pym,Arturo Perez Reverte,Julian Rathbone...I've travelled widely and enjoy good travel writing, and I have a terrible weakness for whodunnits too, especially historically based ones.
Currently reading:
One Last Breath, Stephen Booth
44 Scotland Street, Alexander McCall
Captain Alatriste, Arturo Perez-Reverte

No more than 2 books by the same author in the box at any time-varied selection for everyone.
