I live in Edinburgh, Scotland and I heard about Bookcrossing from the Italian magazine "Stop" which I read when I was on holiday at Lago di Garda.
I like to read books in French and German, and I am learning Italian and hope soon to read my first book in that language.
I have one daughter who used to live in Paris and I went to vist her quite often. She is now doing a post-grad degree in England. She is a serious classical singer and I love going to her concerts.
When I was young I sang, too, and I collected folksongs from all over Europe. Also I loved the American collections of Alan Lomax.
The best time in my year is the Edinburgh Festival in August/Sept.
