Extended Profile
I am an obsessive reader and am happy to set a few wonderful books free, so as soon as I found out about this site I had to join.
I live in a village called Hurstpierpoint, having moved there from the jolly town of Brighton. I have an hour long train journey into London every morning and then back every evening, which gives me ample time to read a lot and also, I guess, gives me a good place to set books free. I read stacks of fiction aswell as fascinating non-fiction.
Addled as I am, it isn't a totally rare occurrence for me to do something like order a book on Amazon, then see it in a shop, forget I've ordered it and buy it. I then end up with two copies, so any of those will be released to the wild.
I am self employed and I am doing a part time, evening study degree in Philosophy at Birkbeck College which is part of the University of London. Wish I was a full time student and could sit in coffee bars with my nose in a book all day.
Other obsessions are films, music, food, wine, science, laughter...
