Extended Profile
I'm an active Bookcrosser, regularly attending meet ups here in Adelaide as well as travelling to International Conventions and the AUS/NZ Unconventions. I have just returned from a year long trip started in April 2017 through Europe, the Middle East and
Asia, with Bookcrossing Conventions at each end in Oslo and Bordeaux. If you would like to see some of my adventures - Bookcrossing occasionally gets a mention - head over to my blogs at
www.josiewanders.com and

My taste in books has changed a lot over those years, and as such I am now willing to try reading any book, so I don't really have a list of favourite authors. Please don't look at my bookshelf for an indication of my reading preferences - I have been given most of these books by other people specifically for release, so it's not a reflection of my personal taste. I also have books that have been picked up for my husband and children.
I generally don't participate in bookrings/rays as sometimes other commitments mean I can't get through the book in the given time frame. I love receiving books from other bookcrossers, and they will definitely be journalled - it may just be a while before they move on again. Books I receive from other bookcrossers I almost always pass on at meetups, to continue them on their journey!
Adelaide Bookcrossers meet up at 7pm on the second Tuesday of every month, currently at Bocelli Caffe Restaurant, 81/83 Hutt St, Adelaide (Cnr Wakefield Street). Please join us to take some of our many books off our hands! We don't require you to bring any in return, but of course you can do that too!
