I am a teacher and I like to read in my spare time. I guess you could say I am a book addict, and I have books on hand that I have yet to read. My rationale is that if there is a dreadful depression and new books are hard to come by, I will have a stash of unread fiction to fall back on. Of course, I do read a good many of my purchases so I also have to keep finding new books! I like mystery, science fiction, fantasy, general fiction and travel books.
