Hi alle zusammen!!!

Tja, was gibt es über mich zu sagen? :-)
Das Wichtigste ist, dass ich Christin bin. Das heißt, ich durfte erkennen, dass Gott wahr ist, dass ich gegen Seine Gebote verstoßen habe und Seine Vergebung brauche, wenn ich nicht in Ewigkeit von Ihm getrennt sein will, was buchstäblich die Hölle wäre. Jesus Christus, Gottes Sohn und zugleich der einzige vollkommene, sündlose Mensch, starb am Kreuz und trug die Strafe für die Sünden aller, die dieses Geschenk annehmen. So gehörte zu meiner Bekehrung auch die Erkenntnis, dass man Christ nicht durch Taufe, Kirchzugehörigkeit oder bloßes Als-wahr-Anerkennen der Glaubensgrundsätze wird, sondern durch eine bewusste Entscheidung Jesus als Erlöser und Herr anzunehmen. Diese Entscheidung habe ich getroffen und bin nun versöhnt mit Gott und lasse mich in meinem Leben von Ihm leiten. Das war die beste Entscheidung meines Lebens.
Das wichtigste Buch für mich ist natürlich die Bibel.
Außerdem lese ich gerne christliche Bücher, welche mich im Glauben stärken, voranbringen und ermahnen. Gelegentlich lese ich auch Sachbücher zu anderen Themen. Gerne auch Erfahrungsberichte, Biographien etc. Selten einen Roman, aber es kommt vor. :-)
Ich interessiere mich für andere Kulturen als Versuche, das menschliche Zusammenleben zu gestalten. Auch wichtig finde ich die Umwelt und Umweltschutz. Ich bin gegen Grüne Gentechnik, Atomkraft und Massentierhaltung.

Hi everyone,
here are some short facts about me. 
The most important thing is that I am a Christian. This means I could realise that God is real, that I sinned against His comandments und need His forgiveness if I don´t want to be sperated from Him in eternity which would literally mean hell. Jesus Christ, God´s son and at the same time the only perfect, sinless human, died on the cross and bore the punishment for the sins of all, that accept this gift. So part of my conversion was to realise that one becomes a christian not through baptism, membership in a church or simply considering the credo as true, but through a concious decision to accept Jesus as savior and lord. I made this decision and now am reconciled to God and let Him lead me in life. I do not regret it.

The most important book for me naturally is the Bible.
Apart from this I like reading Christian books that strengthen and further my faith and advise me. Sometimes I read non-fiction about other topics. I also like reading biographies or the like.
I am interested in other cultures as an attempt to structure human coexistence. Also important I find nature and it´s protection. I am against green genetic engineering, nuclear energy and factory farming.
