I was a 1001 books to read before you die reader...however recently I have been drawn off the list by lots of other exciting authors which has really slowed down my progress!!
I have started a small zone off at Mama Feel Goods Cafe in Bekesbourne, on the outskirts of Canterbury- this is essentially a magazine rack and only holds a few books I Have recently spoken to the owner and it turns out that she’s keeping the books stored in her office whilst they make some changes to layout. If you pop in and can’t see any books - try asking about them!!
I recently set up at zone in Sandwich at the Drill Hall - a great place to go for pizza and gelato with diary free and gluten free options! The bookcase is by the gelato stand and sofas - coffee, tea and a bar is available for anyone that pops in (with or without their dog) that doesn’t fancy a pizza. It’s a great place with local artwork on display and the staff are very supportive about the concept of bookcrossing too :0)
There may also be a little free library eventually in my local pub garden with a shelf for children's books so watch this space :0). I’ve been showing pictures of little free libraries to the pub landlady!!
NSS
I have 3 cats and 2 dogs (1 labrador and 1 golden retriever) that keep me entertained and smiling - they enjoy strong toys that squeak! Bookcrossing items are useful for my zone and personal bookcrossing. I enjoy dark chocolate and milk chocolate with or without mint or ginger and spices and prefer it to be fair trade if possible. I enjoy sweeties like fruit jellies, cola cubes and love shiny things. Oh!, and I have a soft spot for cows and elephants :0)
