Welcome to the Panera Bread bookshelf for the state of Iowa! We have established Official BookCrossing Zones at all of our locations in Des Moines, Ankeny, Ames, Iowa City, Cedar Rapids, Waterloo, Cedar Falls, Dubuque and the Quad Cities. We have over 1000 books waiting to be released in the coming months. Due to the administrative burden of logging all of our books, we will only be registering a fraction of the books we release, although all will be marked with Bookcrossing ID numbers. Rest assured that the Bookcrossing baskets in our bakery-cafes will remain stocked with great books for your reading pleasure.

You are welcome to visit any of our locations for the BookCrossing Zone, or just to sit by the fireplace and read a book of your own. We can't wait to watch our books travel, so please let us know if you've captured or found one of our books. (A recent release just surfaced in the UK!)
