Extended Profile
Hi. My name is Rick. I live in Pennsylvania at the moment, but grew up in a Navy family, so developed a love for books early in life--partly because of encouragement from my mom and grandparents, who were great readers, and partly out of leaning on books
as sort of a dependable friend that would be able to travel along, or found in new places, and be the same everywhere.
I was born in Virginia, and have lived in Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Mississippi, California, Arizona, and Portugal.
I work for a pharmacy services company, one of the largest (if not the largest) mail order pharmacies in the USA, right here in Pennsylvania, also home of the Liberty Bell, Fallingwater, Hershey Chocolate, and mushroom farms.
I read a wide variety of books, but as you will notice, I like a lot of non-fiction in the religious, history, geography, and just general non-fiction, and also like a wide variety of things in fiction, especially science fiction and fantasy (and the closely related horror), historical fiction, general fiction, and mysteries.
