I'm glad to be a member of BookCrossing - I feel like I fit right in here, book addict that I am! Since I was about thirteen my favorite books have been nineteenth-century British novels. I love Austen, Dickens, the Brontes, Thackeray, Hardy, Trollope,
Eliot, and Gissing. I studied Comparative Literature in college, focusing on 19c novels in Britain, France and Germany. At the moment I'm working at an independent bookstore in my hometown, and reading mostly 21c fiction, in order to be able to recommend the
best new books to customers.
