Extended Profile
Biker, cat-lover, not-very-good musician, secular humanist, bean-counter and recently-graduated historian, real-ale drinker and caffeine addict, described as 'loud, gobby and opinionated' and that's just by my friends :o)
I'm in this game for the releasing buzz; I'm not really interested in trading. I also tend not to do rings or rays as I hate being pressurised into reading something within a set timescale; I read as the fancy takes me, and I'd probably be the one holding the whole plot up... oh the embarrassment!
You can't reliably judge my reading tastes by my bookshelf, as I only register books which I intend to release; my very favourite and precious books aren't registered and I sometimes pick up books to register which I usually wouldn't read myself. However, I'm a pretty voracious reader (will read cereal boxes and toothpaste tubes if there's nothing else); so I will give most things a try at least once.
