Extended Profile
I was just leaving the Vancouver Word on the Street festival at Library Square, which I enjoy every year, when I noticed a BookCrossing book left on my Vino scooter (illegally parked on the sidewalk). After perusing the website and back issues of the newsletter,
I am hooked and have decided to join. What a great idea, I am used to giving my books to used books stores, to shelters, to hospitals (I pick a new place once a month) and now I'll release books for BookCrossing.
I used to belong to books clubs, I've started some clubs also but they seem to die out after a year or so. I do find it difficult to find other people who enjoy reading as much as I do and who enjoy discussing the book and author afterwards. I guess most readers aren't talkers. I am looking forward to this forum.
Read on and share.
