Extended Profile
I started this account on BookCrossing in October 2001. I entered a few books, released a couple, came back entered a couple more and just visited occasionally. I recently heard about the Charleston area meet-up coming up on 2/11/03, and at first I wasn't
too interested. I thought I'd just be going to a meeting of people I don't know talking about something I don't know much about (books.) I haven't been reading much lately that's not on a computer screen or in a magazine. Then after a little more thought,
I realized I'd be in a group of people that would have lots of great ideas about what I might read in the future. So many types of books out there I've never touched. I'm hoping to get some great ideas for books to read not only from the meet-up, but from
any BookCrossing books I might find in the wild (I love that description...)
Update: It's now July 21, 2009 and I haven't been on this site for years. I still keep seeing my books with the Bookcrossing stickers in them so they may make it out eventually!
