I'm retired and finally have time to read, read, read. I buy a fair number of books and have often thought about how they're not "used up" just because I've finished them. In fact, about a year ago I hatched a little plan to do something like BookCrossing is doing--MINUS the internet. THAT's what will make this fun!

Most of my purchases are non-fiction, which I read with a highlighter in hand. Some of those will remain in my permanent collection. But the occasional fiction I acquire and non-fiction that didn't turn out to be what I had hoped will be donated to this project.

I'm grateful for this means of keeping things in circulation. It tends to justify some of the "investments."
