I believe children should be surrounded by books. I pick them up at garage sales and thrift stores then either donate them to public health clinics or set them free via Bookcrossing.
I am the proud mother of a 19 year old boy who lights up my life. I enjoy reading, writing, scrapbooking, rubberstamping and gardening.
Well, I am a real slow reader...and I have the bad habit of reading too many books at one time...and not finishing any of them. I keep a book in my car, many by my bed, one in my purse and a stack in my kitchen. One can never have too many books.
