Heartfelt Thank You to the following BookCrossers!
Thanks Nyota24 for the July RABCK!
Thank you Craftykat for the RABCK (June 2006)!
Thanks DrSlump612 for 2 nice books as a RABCK! (May 2006)
Thanks to olered for the very nice RABCK!!! Woo-hoo! (April 2006)
Thanks to cratclif for my first ever RABCK in April 2005!
Love to read history of science, biography, classics, and... well... anything! It's all about mood really! I just love to read! I have 2 amazing kids to keep me busy, and soon they both will be reading, and I hope they will read to me! I've enjoyed my time here at Bookcrossing, and hope to participate in this community for YEARS to come.
I am the co-author of the book "Latitude: How American Astronomers Solved the Mystery of Variation". It is a history of astronomy book about an amature astronomer who made an amazing discovery. (Regular people can do big things)[Naval Institute Press isbn 1-55750-016-9]
*** also just out is a 2nd book I've done with my father. It's called "Simon Newcomb: America's Unofficial Astronomer Royal".
(isbn 1-59113-803-50) It has just been released (jan2006), so it is still a bit hard to find at booksellers without the isbn number. This is a biography of one of America's greatest scientific minds. Hope you enjoy it!
I only register books that I plan to cross, so anything on my BC "bookshelf" is going to go out into the world. Mostly I do wild releases, but I'm happy to trade or RABCK too!
