Extended Profile
Found Bookcrossing through the 9 August Article in The Australian and have been captivated.

I am a complete book fiend - recent packing for a move resulted in 10 boxes of books - with another four large boxes to be freed to friends or released via bookcrossing (not counting a dozen or so of my ex-flatmates to be released).

I read everything from Romance to Politics, Fiction to Non-Fiction.
Film and Music (especially australian local music) non-fiction books do take pride of place on my large over-stocked bookshelves.

Author's whose works I can't part with...
Nick Hornby - High Fidelity, Fever Pitch, About a Boy, How to Be Good
Nick Earls - both adult Bachelor Kisses, Perfect Skin and his young adult work - 48 Shades of Brown, After January
Mike Gayle - Turning Thirty, Dinner for 2
Neal Stephenson - Cryptonomicon, Snow Crash - Sci Fi at it's scariest because it seems almost real.
Douglass Adams

Books that I love and re-read and re-read(outside the Author's above)
Stephen Brust's Cowboy Fengs Space Bar and Grille - Sci Fi Comedy
Girls Night In - the series - great reads everyone and a great concept for a fantastic cause go to to check it
Marian Zimmer Bradley's Mists of Avalon and her Gravelight/Heartlight series
Rick Atkinson's The Long Gray Line - follows the 1966 class from West Point to Vietnam, through Korea and home to the States right up to the dedication of the Vietnam War Memorial in Washington - this is an amazing human look at the changes that Vietnam - but a great pleasure read - one of the most human and informative books I have ever read.

Other soft spots
The Anne Books
Little Women
Pastures of the Blue Crane - by Hesba Brinsmead (1964) - an Australian novel set on the Gold Coast before it went Vegas

Overall - I probably lean a little heavy on the Science Fiction/Fantasy - but will read anything I can get my hands on (Well almost).
