Extended Profile
I am a married, mother of two children. When they are not monopolizing my time, I work as a Medical Assistant, and when I find the time after all the chores of daily life and giving some time to my wonderful and supportive husband... I read, re-read my
favorite books and write fantasy / fiction / childrens fiction; I even do my own illustrating. Sometimes, when I find the time, I work on bettering my homepage:
Gishes' Magical World, please check it out.
My favorite authors are as follows in the order that they are most favored: Mercedes Lackey, Terry Goodkind, J.R.R. Tolkein, Stephen King, J.K. Rowling, Margaret Weiss & Tracy Hickman, Piers Anthony, Dean Koontz and Terry Pratchet.
I have found many supportive groups for writers in Yahoo E-groups. SF_Fantasy_Writers, Fantasy_Writing and Worlds_Of_Imagination; it was a member of one of these groups that referred me to Book Crossing, thanks Aegean. I have yet to become a published writer, but I am close. Wish me the best of luck ;)
