My name is Kate, I am 27 and live and work in London.

I have a degree in English Literature and French and love to read books in both languages. (That's a slight lie, I haven't read a book in French since University but the thought is always there! If anyone can recomemnd any modern day French fiction books I would love to hear from you!!)

I lead the average life of a 27 year old girl in the city. I work Monday to Friday for a large financial services firm, I regularly go to the gym and then I love to socialise...live music, gigs, clubs, concerts, museums, exhibitions, photography trips, diving, shopping, theatre, cinema, you name it I will give it a go within reason. (not sure if you would call the extreme list of interests and hobbies 'average' but I hate to be sat in doors doing nothing, especially if I don't have a good book to read)

The kind of books I like are life books. Books about situations in people's lives, whether they are fact or fiction and how people coped. I like books that reveal people's emotional response to tragedies and the effects.
