Favorite authors/books are:
I love Diana Gabaldon (Outlander Series), LM Montgomery (Anne of Green Gables), JK Rowling (Harry Potter), Rosamunde Pilcher (The Shell Seekers, Coming Home, etc.), Left Behind Series, Dorothy Gilman (Mrs. Pollifax Series), Some Judith Krantz, some Judith Michael, some Maeve Binchey, Jean Auel (Clan of the Cave Bear series), James Michener, Madeline L'Engle's wonderful "Wrinkle in Time" books, the old British "Shoes" books (kids books, about 1940's), love the 1960s' book Charlotte Sometimes, and many, many other books. I also enjoy theology and psychology.
Basically, give me historical fiction and/or a good series, or a great Kids' series, or a 1000 page book in a series and I'm happy.
Mom to 2 kids (ages 11 and 14), both adopted foster kids, both kids more challenging than average and we also have 3 cats, 2 parakeets, 1 rabbit (house rabbit, not caged) and about 11 fish, my brother also lives with us and I've been married for 16 years to my husband. All that keeps me busy!
For work, I am a consultant with a gourmet foods direct sales company and also am a clerical sub with our local school district. I spent 20+ years as a legal secretary prior to my new career(s).
