You'll notice that I constantly have 200 million books labelled To-Be-Read. That's because now that I can afford all the books I want, I no longer have enough time to read them all. I have a new rule for myself: I'm only allowed to buy a new book when I've read five books from Mount To-Be-Read.
I read primarily science fiction, fantasy, mystery and YA (young adult) fantasy. My 100 favorite authors include: Tamora Pierce, Diane Duane, Mercedes Lackey, David Weber, Nora Roberts, Susan Cooper, Lois McMaster Bujold, Tanya Huff, Madeleine L'Engle, Anne McCaffrey, Elizabeth Moon, J.K. Rowling, Lillian Jackson Braun, Sneaky Pie Brown, Dick Francis, Carol O'Connell, Laurie R. King, Simon Green, Eoin Colfer, Diana Wynne Jones, Josepha Sherman, Nancy Springer, Holly Black, Reginald Hill, Ann Downer ...
