Extended Profile
I suppose first of all I should say that if at any point in time you'd like a book that I have available you should contact my mother (glade1) because she's on bookcrossing a lot more often than I am. Also, this is a new profile and my old username here
was ElfOwlv (to eliminate any potential confusion). I don't usually have many available books seeing as most of the time when I buy books it's because absolutely adore them. I'd recommend checking my mother's book list if you really want a wide variety of
books.
So now that all of those nasty formalities are out of the way I'll tell you a few things about myself. Obviously I like to read though at the moment I'm in a bit of a reading slump. Typically I stick to young adult novels and series though it's definitely not unusual for me to read an entire science textbook for fun. I'm a bit of a natural science geek and I love everything about animals and nature and basically the natural world. I currently own two cats, two dogs, two hermit crabs, and a parakeet and am on a campaign to get either a snake or ferrets.
Other than animals and science I enjoy anime and usually watch multiple animes a year. I also like to draw characters from animes or invent my own characters and draw those. I am currently addicted to several TV shows (both anime and non-anime) which include Supernatural, Sherlock, American Horror Story, Sword Art Online, and Hannibal. I can usually be found on my laptop browsing tumblr, pinterest, or amazon but other than being essentially attached to my laptop I do sometimes venture out into the sunlight and hang out with my friends, hike, or camp. I'm also a vegan, mostly for health reasons, and am completely against animal cruelty.
I'm pretty convinced that my motto in life is:
" Can you not?"
I'm also convinced that 99.9% of the world's problems could be solved if everyone just stopped talking and sat in corners for a few minutes to actually think before they spoke.
I'm not really a people person as you can probably tell. I'm not really an introvert I'm just in constant fear of judgment (plus I just don't really like people ^^" ). I'm much happier surrounded by animals than I've ever been around people.
So now that I've probably convinced you that I'm a budding old cat-lady/sociopath I'd just like to say:
Hi! I'm Julia! ^^
