I have just recently discovered Book Crossing and I enjoy so much the idea! I was so excited to find a book back in September 06, in a train station in UK, and ever since I've been hooked. I timidly register books now and release here and there,
but more than anything I love to go onsite and search about a book or two, read other people's comments, etc. And let me tell you, the Christmas wish list and the Thank you threads are an eye opener, so many marvellous stories and so many wishes fulfilled.
Personally I had a couple of lovely gifts concerning cross stitch, and I am so grateful.
I am almost 40 and I do not have children. I love cats, and in my adult life I had two cats, one white, while I lived in the UK, and the second one black where I live now in France. I also enjoy hand crafts, knitting, sewing and patchwork, and I like a spot of gardening. Nothing like a read in my little garden, and the cat lingering by in the sunshine. Bliss!
Well enough about myself for now, but I'll soon add a list of my favourite books.
