10/10/2017 - Inauguration and first set of books
12/27/2017 - Installed motion detection 'night lights'
10/27/2019 - Replaced part of the bottom front panel due to water damage. Noted additional water damage to the right side panel, but did not replace. Caulked the inside with a new layer.
01/03/2020 - replaced batteries in night lights.
06/21/2020 - cleared LFL due to ant invasion after heavy rains. 2 books lost. Restocked 1 week later once ant bait worked.
9/10/2020 - replaced batteries in night lights.
3/28/2021 - Replaced broken roof tile. Purchased wood to replace all roof tiles which are in poor shape. Need to buy matching paint which seems to be in short supply, thank you COVID.
09/03/2021 - 550 books have now gone through the LFL! How awesome!
10/20/2021 - replaced batteries in night lights.
05/21/22 - Releases at Gaithersburg Book Festival - 93
09/20/2022 - Repair roof by removing rotted boards, painted base roof, and painted new boards.
02/04/2023 - 733 books have gone through the LFL.
12/30/2023 - 842 books have gone through the LFL.
08/31/2024 - 928 books have gone through the LFL!
