We have branch libraries throughout Fingal (Dublin, Ireland), with Fingal Mobile Library service and Fingal Housebound Service serving those who are not within easy reach of or unable to visit a branch library.

How to join the Library:
Membership of Fingal County Libraries is FREE and open to everyone. You don't need to be a member to read in the library or attend library events. If you would like to borrow books, CDs, Dvds or any other items you will need to join your local library - www.fingal.ie
To join the library you must bring a of identification which must contain your name and current address e.g. utility bills, driving licence, bank/credit card statement, children's allowance book or tax correspondence.
* Adults 15 - 17 years need a guarantor to sign their application form and also provide one form of identification with the name and address of the guarantor.
* Young Adults 12 - 14 years need a parent/guardian present to sign the consent form for a Young Adult card.
* Junior borrowers need identification with the name and address of their parent/guardian.
A Reference card for 18+ year olds can be obtained with photo identification. This is not a lending card but does allow access to the computers.
What Can I Borrow?
Adult members can borrow up to TEN items and Junior members can borrow up to SIX items.
The loan period on most items is 3 weeks. Prints can be borrowed for 3 months
Library members can borrow:
* Fiction Books
* Non Fiction Books
* Large Print Books
* Magazines and Periodicals
* Talking Books on CD, Cassette & MP3
* Music CDs and Cassettes
* DVDs
* Language sets
* Adult Literacy Material
* Prints (3 month loan)
* CD-Roms
Online Services: Free ebooks & Audio Books. Free Online courses. Online Renewal.
