Hello fellow booklovers!

When I was 10, my grandmother bought me the first book in Walter Farley's "Black Stallion" series. The next day, having finished the book, I went back and asked for the next. And I've been hooked ever since! And while I never grew up to be a jockey like I wanted to after I read those books, I have had many other incredible adventures in life and in books.

I'm grateful to my grandmother and my librarian mom for passing on a DEEP love of reading to me and my sister. Sometimes when we're out at dinner, we all sit around and read instead of talking! (But then we talk about the books too :-)

I can't imagine life without books, and I'm pleased as punch to have found this website. I look forward to meeting many other booklovers and finding and releasing some really big 'fish'.

In the meantime I keep busy building my own business so I can retire young and have more time to read (and chase books a little furthur from home too :-). If you'd like more time to read too, I'm always looking for partners with a passion! Check out my website to see what it's all about.
