Extended Profile
Kiwanis Early Risers plans to place a small bookshelf or tiny library around the Imperial Valley, and we are partnering with San Diego State University's Liberal Studies department to help make this happen.
We gave away 411 books at the local Children's Fair in April 2015, 600 in April 2016, 1000 at Desert Gardens Elementary, and hundreds at ASES programs and Little Libraries around El Centro. (total given away since April 2015: 4,000+ books!)

We're excited to share books AND Bookcrossing with the Imperial Valley! We will also share what we're doing with other clubs in our region, and will bring books to each one we visit. It's going to be an amazing, fun year!
