Dal Burns, a fourth-generation entertainer born in England and resident in California, has worked and trained with Newcastle Repertory Theatre and Langley Castle Productions (U.K.), Karl Avis Stunt Team and Channel 7 (Australia), the American Conservatory
Theatre and Commedia De'll Arte in the United States. An actor and writer, Burns has narrated for television, radio and audio books, winning a Sadie Award for Excellence in Radio Broadcasting. In addition to writing and performing the one-man play, Outback
(now a CD audio book), Burns has recently completed a new audio CD of Aborigine style stories written for children, titled "The Kookaburra and Other Stories", released in April of 2001. He is currently finishing up a middle-grade book, The Adventure of Phoo
and working on a second series of children's audiostories and an audiostory of his latest walkabout in Chile and Patagonia.
