Extended Profile
I am a person with a passion for nature, especially plants, travel and and life in general, including literature, ecology (I am a trained plant ecologist), people, photography, music, gender issues and history.
I am a walker between many different worlds, not in the very spiritual sense, but more in that e.g. I am English, born in Luxembourg, having lived in the UK, Australia,USA and most of all Germany (last 10 years); I am a plant ecologist working in a plant physiology institute endeavouring to link the science of theoretical and pure ecology with the on-the-ground application of restoring degraded ecosystems.

I look forward to meeting some interesting people through Book Crossing, and I love the idea of books travelling as well as people..
