I live in a tiny village in the rolling valleys north east of Leicester. It is the Quorn Hunt country, although we see little of them nowadays. I love to walk in this beautiful countryside and am amazed every day how lovely it is.
I am married with 2 sons in their 30s, one is living in London and setting out as an illustrator and the other lives in the East Midlands, teaching Maths and now is a father of one - the magical grandchild! Our house is full of books; there isn't a room without them on their shelves or overspilling onto tables, chairs and of course the floor. I read anything but Sci Fi ( well that's not true either becausen I'll read any Terry Pratchett, loved Ursula Le Gubin, touched on Asimov and adored Frank Herbert's Dune series - and the computer games too) and my husband reads Sci Fi and selected others. I do a bit of knitting and gardening, am quite involved in our village activities, love to travel and eat .
