Extended Profile
Hi, I'm a full time college student, so unfortunately I don't have as much time to read as I did a year and a half ago. I'm also a fiction writer (short stories right now, back to the novels when school is not so crazy busy). My favorite authors are Philip
Roth, Elmore Leonard, Richard Price, John Steinbeck, Stephen King, Dorothy Parker, Nick Hornby, Anais Nin and J.D. Salinger. Some of my recent fave books are Edward P. Jones's "The Known World," DBC Pierre's "Vernon God Little," Nicole Krauss' "Man Walks Into
a Room," Chuck Palahniuk's "Fight Club," Alex Garland's "The Tesseract," Tom Perrotta's "Little Children," and David Sedaris's "Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim." I'm always looking for people who love to converse about books and writers; I ran a "Novels-to-Film"
book group for a couple of years, but L.A. is a tough place to find enthusiastic readers who also hunger for lively discussion. I enjoy sharing my picks for good reads and have become increasingly more open to recommendations of books that I would normally
never pick up on my own.
