Extended Profile
I tripped across this site from some well-worded advice, and was handed a book to read. Read the book, made a comment, and released it into the "wild". I used to be rather territorial about my books and refused to part with them, not now. It seems lately
that boxes of books have left this house on their way to either church bazaars or to used books stores. I thought that I'd try this way and see what happens.
I read A LOT. My friends and family tend to come to me when they either want a book to read or need some ideas about what to read. At one point there was a bookstore in this city where the workers recognized me because I went in so often. I have to perodically put myself on a book buying sabbatical, because well I need to eat. Incidently, my favorite quotation about books is: "When I get a little money I buy books, and if any is left I buy food and clothes."
